This app keeps your books, your place, your notes, and your ratings on your own phone — nothing is uploaded, and there are no accounts. Today the app collects no data about you at all. There is no advertising and no tracking.
This audiobook player is made by Michael Toker (Israel). Questions about privacy: dontokeron@gmail.com.
The audio files you add, your listening position, chapter/part progress, notes, book ratings and reviews, and your settings are stored only in your phone’s local browser storage. They are never sent to us or anyone else. Deleting the app (or clearing its site data) removes them — that is why the app offers a Save backup option you control.
Nothing. No personal information, no account, no identifiers, no location, no analytics, no cookies for advertising. The only server involved simply delivers the app’s files to your browser (hosted on Cloudflare Pages); after your first visit the app also works offline.
In a future version we may add optional, anonymous usage statistics to understand how the app is used in aggregate — for example how many times books are opened, which titles are popular, and what times of day the app is used. If we do:
Because that data would be anonymous, it can’t be used to identify you and isn’t tied to you personally.
This app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Everything is on your device and under your control: you can add or delete books, edit or delete notes, and export a backup at any time. When anonymous statistics arrive, an in-app switch will let you opt out.
If this statement changes, the “Last updated” date above will change, and any new data collection will be described here before it starts.
This app is provided free and “as is”, without warranties of any kind, and you use it at your own risk. You are responsible for having the right to use any audio files you load into it. To the extent allowed by law, the developer is not liable for any loss arising from use of the app — including loss of data, so please keep your own copies of your audio files and use Save backup for your notes and progress.
This app stores audiobooks locally and does not distribute or provide any book content.
